What is the 5rs policy? It is a re-education with the aim of:

Reduce the amount of our waste; rethink how we consume; reject products that do not follow sustainable laws; reuse materials and learn how to properly recycle waste. These practices must be automatic in our day to day, in order to become a habit.

With these small daily gestures we help to improve the environment.

RETHINK ON SUSTAINABILITY

Is what you are buying really something you need?

Does it sometimes consume on impulse and ends up committing waste?

Instead of buying something new, maybe you could reuse something you already have, or buy something used and in good condition?

REFUSE PACKAGES

Refuse plastic bags and non-recyclable packaging , aerosols and incandescent lamps. Prefer, above all, products from companies that are committed to the environment. Refuse to purchase packaged products.

REUSE PRODUCTS

Create your handmade products from glass, paper, plastic, metal, cd's, etc. Use both sides of the paper and make scratch blocks, and reuse the wrapping papers, as this will be preserving the forest, in addition to extending the product's life.

Use rechargeable batteries instead of alkaline batteries.

Organic waste

Glass and metal packaging are 100% recyclable, so give them preference.

Colors always help, but in the absence of colorful containers we can, in addition, identify them by labels with the type of material: Paper, Metal, Glass, Organic, etc.

For waste such as cooking oil, batteries, batteries or medicine that is out of date, NEVER dispose of in regular trash.
